Antarctic Advocacy

The Antarctic and Southern Ocean Coalition has been working for over thirty years to preserve the Antarctic continent and its surrounding Southern Ocean. ASOC is the only organization whose work focuses only on Antarctica and the surrounding Southern Ocean.  Our work takes three main forms:  participating in the international legal systems that govern Antarctica, campaigning to achieve specific conservation goals, and raising awareness of key marine and environmental issues.
